This is a picture of me and my wife, Doreen. We love time to ourselves, time with good friends, meeting new people , going for our goals, traveling, dancing, music and cooking together. I'm a lucky man.
I've been practicing Physical Therapy since 1984. It's been rewarding on several levels. I've learned to appreciate a lot more of life's infinite simple pleasures that I used to take for granted.
My interest in personal growth, middle class economics, and multiple income sources, started years ago. Conversations with Susan Frederick, previously a business broker, and Means Davis, also a business consultant, fueled changes in my thinking about what money is, different sustainable ways of earning it, and the impacts of the type of incomes we create. And my paradigm keeps evolving! I am concerned about the apparent shrinking economic middle class, the disruption and employment changes associated with our evolving technologies, and sustaining healthy practices. I believe that networking and collaborating leverages our individual abilities to improve our productivity, wealth, and cultural conversations.
One of the similarities of reading and traveling is that they both expand my awareness of how little I really know about the world. I love learning about how people think, and about the strengths and limitations in my own world view. Reading "The Connector" led me to appreciate how much impact we can have by connecting people with similar dreams. And works such as "A Course in Miracles" will challenge me forever.
Lastly, you can quickly see that I love music; it seem to be a universal language that engages our emotions, and crosses boundaries of race, religion and nationalities. I particularly like music from the 30's and 40's; the popular and jazz standards of the era, and various music through the successive decades; Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Hoagy Carmichael, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, etc. composed and played some really extraordinary music. And blues music also grabs me; from Robert Johnson through Keb Mo'. I have played music for years in the Magic City area, and I hear all these wonderful players speaking through my music.
